PILOTING GUIDE CORRECTIONS

Piloting Guides are the OCS equivalent to the
USCG Coast Pilots.

As new Piloting Guide books are made available by the Coast Guard, OCEAN CHARTING SERVICES provides each vessel with a Piloting Guide book in three ring binders. Corrections to the Piloting Guide books are made by replacing the original pages with updated pages.

Each time changes to a pilot guide are sent, we include a
Record of Changes sheet(s) that lists all of the updates that have been issued. This gives each vessel a running tally of corrections.

There is also an Update Log which can be used to record when
and by whom, the corrections were made.
