Despite wholesale advances in electronics technology, paper remains
the standard when it comes to marine charts. It follows that accurate
and frequent updates are required for always staying in compliance for
Coast Guard inspection.
Every week, OCS sends packages of updates to the vessels in our
customer’s fleet. The products the customer typically contracts OCS to
provide include; updates to charts, Pilot Guides, and Light Lists, as well
as printed and digital copies of Notice to Mariners, and updates to Digital Charts. This includes documented tracking of updates to each government publication we support.
Our products can be requested ala carte. A vessel can request
